The American International School of Jeddah (AISJ) was formerly known as the Saudi Arabian International School until June 2004. AISJ is a non-profit institution governed by an elected Board of Trustees and assisted by the U.S. Department of State. AISJ is a private, college-preparatory English language day school for students from KG to 12th grade.

Internet plays a vital role in the school for children to do research, take notes related to their studies and other things. Also, teachers and other staff of the school need Internet for their own purposes.

Mr. Asim Mansuri, the IT Administrator at AISJ said, “We are one campus with 3 schools – Elementary, Middle and High School. Hence, for better bandwidth management, secured VPN connectivity and monitoring students was a basic requirement for us”.

The network issues they faced were:

Laborious Network Speed

Mr. Mansuri was upset with the slow network speed. He said, “We often noticed students and staff using Internet for non-work related tasks, due to which bandwidth was getting choked.
