In a major declaration today, Elitecore, the makers of Cyberoam Identity-based Unified Threat Management (UTM) appliances, announced receiving the first order for 200 appliances from their North American Partner CCNY. This significant first order is an important milestone for Cyberoam to consolidate its position and make its presence felt in the Internet security market of USA.

CCNY’s appointment as a Master Reseller for Cyberoam’s UTM appliances across North America in November signifies Cyberoam’s strengthening channel network in USA. With this first purchase order of $1.2 million, the tie-up between the partners stands to strengthen further.

Expressing his happiness at receiving CCNY’s first purchase order, Greg Caravello, Vice-President Sales, Cyberoam, said “The order is an endorsement by CCNY and its clientele of the uniqueness of Cyberoam’s identity-based security. Direct mailers and partner road-shows are other options that Cyberoam is looking at to secure its position in the US market.
